{friday favorite} Jenn’s Barnsley Gardens Bridal Portrait

Happy Friday everyone! Sorry I’m posting so late- it’s been a looong week. I am so excited to share bridal portraits of my beautiful friend Jenn! She and Allen got married last weekend at Lake Oconee in GA and it was so much fun. It was pretty much a high school reunion and I loved every second of spending time with my friends. We did Jenn’s bridal portraits at the gorgeous Barnsley Gardens. I am so in love with this place and can’t wait to shoot there again in October! Check out some of my favorites:

{friday favorite} Nashville Children’s Photographer

Happy Friday everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve posted pictures from a child and family session! When we were in Charleston for the 4th of July, I met up with our friends Ashley & Troy and little Chase. Chase is 2 now – I’ve been taking his pictures since he was a newborn and I really miss this family. Ashley is expecting baby boy number two so it was perfect timing to get some pictures of Chase and some family pictures before Chase’s little brother arrives 🙂  Thank you guys so much for letting me take pictures of your sweet family. Chase is such an expressive little kid…check out some of my favorites:

Chase is showing us where his baby brother is 🙂 Adorable.

Haha 🙂

This is Chase’s ‘surprised face’ and I love it 🙂

{friday favorite} Clay & Pat’s Sewanee Wedding

Happy Friday everyone! I shared a sneak peek of Clay & Pat’s wedding a couple of weeks ago and today I’m excited to share more from this gorgeous wedding! Seriously, if you haven’t been to Sewanee, you have got to check it out. Both Clay & Pat went to this school– better known as The University of the South. (Quite a name huh?) This place is unbelievably beautiful. Clay & Pat were married at All Saint’s Chapel and their reception was at the Sewanee Inn. Dusty and I had the best time at this wedding getting to know Clay & Pat, and their families and friends. It was one big celebration and we totally felt like guests. I may or may not have danced 😉

Clay and Pat were such sweet people with such a genuine love for one another. I could tell by the many, many friends that were at their wedding that they are the type of people that everyone just adores. And I can see why. Thank you Clay & Pat for trusting Dusty and I with your wedding memories. We had a blast!

Check out some of my favorites from this gorgeous day. Vendors listed at the end.

P.S. – Just a fair warning…there are a TON of pictures. This wedding was just too much fun…I could have done an entire post dedicated to people dancing at the reception 🙂

Wow. Pat did gooooood. Check out this gorgeous ring he gave Clay as a wedding gift!

BEAUTIFUL flowers by the lovely Jessica from SOULflowers! You have to check out this florist. She was incredible 🙂

Sewanee had the most incredible spots for pictures. I was on creative-overload.

haha Dusty caught this shot of Pat and I do have to say he captured his personality perfectly 🙂

These guys were absolutely hilarious. I love it when the groom and groomsmen are FUN. We got the posed shots out of the way and then the guys just kept me laughing. You’ll see…

I wasn’t allowed in the church during the ceremony so I got this shot before they closed the doors.

Shooting the wedding through the doors!

Have you ever seen a couple more excited to finally be married?!

All the Sewanee graduates!

And so begins the dancing shots…. you’ll see why we had so much fun documenting this reception!

I’m pretty sure I have the best brides and grooms. I loved Clay & Pat 🙂

Pat’s brother rapped during the reception. It was quite a hit!

And then he crowd surfed…

Please notice the groom’s cake. It’s a replica of Pat’s fraternity house. The guys loved it for sure.

I swear I don’t ask people to pose like this haha 🙂
