{friday favorite} Two Rivers Mansion Wedding

Happy Friday everyone!! I’m excited to share this wedding today 🙂 John & Bridgette contacted me a while ago about shooting their wedding at Two Rivers Mansion. They live in California and are both very creative people who work for Sundance. I really enjoyed getting to know them on their wedding day. The wedding ceremony and reception were both held at Two Rivers Mansion. It was gorgeous and southern and I loved every bit of it. It did rain pretty hard right when I got there but it passed and they were able to have the ceremony on the steps of the Mansion. Thank you guys so much for trusting me with your memories!

I loved this sign they made featuring all the cities that mean something to them:

Like mother, like daughter!

I loved walking around Two Rivers Mansion and finding all kinds of great places for pictures of Bridgette’s dress:

Pictures in the bathroom? Don’t mind if I do…maybe I’m weird but I liked it 🙂

{children} Emery’s newborn session

I posted one sneak peek of Emery a couple of weeks ago. I thought I would share a few more from this newborn session. Emery was hands down the tiniest baby I have ever seen. (I had to make sure tiniest was a word…it is for those of you wondering!) Seriously– Emery was born very early at 2lbs 1oz. and spent 62 days at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. She is truly a miracle 🙂 I guess this technically wasn’t a newborn session because by the time we were able to take pictures she was already over 2 months old!

{friday favorite} Erin & Blake: King Plow Arts Center Wedding

Happy Friday everyone!! I have to say- the past couple of weeks have been quite crazy! We’re in the middle of house hunting, I was in one of my best friends weddings in SC, and I’m in the middle of wedding season. It’s kind of hectic around here but I can’t really complain 🙂

I’m so excited to finally share some of my favorite pictures from Erin & Blake’s wedding in Atlanta! Their ceremony and reception was at the King Plow Arts Center. This place is incredible! I had so much to work with for great pictures and Erin and Blake were so much fun 🙂 Thank you guys so much for having me as your photographer. It was quite an honor!!

Here are some of my favorite shots (there are a ton so buckle up!)

The wedding party got ready at the W Hotel in Midtown and it was incredible!! I loved all the big windows in the rooms which gave us great light for pictures!

The elevator was a little cramped 😉

Erin and Blake decided to do a first look and I just loved it!! I think they were very happy that they did this. We got some great pictures of just the two of them in this private moment and then they were able to really enjoy the rest of the day!

I loved this moment. Erin and one of her great friends (another Erin – who’s wedding I’m also shooting) plus sweet little Ainsley took a minute to pray before the ceremony.

King Plow Arts Center was an incredible location for the ceremony and reception:

Since the ceremony and reception were in the same room, the staff at King Plow flipped it quickly and it looked amazing!
